Wow. For over a year we have been living in intense times. Intense socially. Intense politically. Intense weather-wise. Intense energetically. Intense astrologically.

[Spoiler alert: more to come!]

We have just walked through an a year in which there is no more business as usual. It’s all new territory, and we are each fraying new paths through a wilderness that looks familiar from a distance, but up close is radically different from expectations.

And, that’s actually brilliant, because now we can start blue-skying it, creating a reality that is aligned and suits us perfectly in the absence of the reality that we’re used to but isn’t what we’d create out of whole cloth given the chance.

Well, NOW is our chance! Woo Hoo! Spin those noise-makers and pop those corks, because it’s time to celebrate and claim what we want!

And… that can be pretty scary. Speaking for myself and many of my clients, I can say that it’s far easier to pine for a reality that feels far away than it is to step right up to the artisan’s bench and actually DO the creating!

I suggest taking the next week or so to really sit, if you haven’t already, to consider what it is you really want to bring into form in 2018-2020.

Also, because Saturn is in Capricorn and this planet is known as the Lord of Karma (also time), rest assured that if you start creating something that isn’t aligned, your course will be corrected for you in short order. Don’t wait to create, because that’s also a decision and Saturn is asking all humans to CHOOSE NOW.

What kind of world do we want to live in? Do YOU want to live in? Decide, and then take the steps to live as that today, as much as possible. That’s how you create a new reality: by taking concrete steps in your own life and trusting that it will ripple out into the world.

Here are some tools you can use for entering the New Year with conscious guidance:

(1) It’s back! For this New Year/Full Moon event I’ve decided to bring back the crystal pulling party on Facebook. I am not sure if I’ll do it more than this once, and until today, I didn’t know that was the plan at all!

Plant your seeds and catalyze your intentions with me. If you registered back in 2015 or 2016, no need to register again, just put in your request. If you’re new to this, just add your name and email to get a shorthand guide you can use to interpret the crystals I pull for you.

(2) Receive your Power Animal Guide for the year.

Now, I love to share resources that I use, and this is a site I use all the time. I shared it with my daughter and nephews over the holidays, and they loved it so much that they might have been partially responsible for crashing the site on Friday, hahaha!

The Guide I received for this New Year’s Day/Full Moon was the Seagull. How perfect! Seagull represents joy, abundance, and perspective. How appropriate! Here’s an excerpt from the description of this guide:

I love that it’s a winged creature who is comfortable in water, air, and on the earth. Wings are an essential part of living as a Mythic Being.

Tonight’s Full Moon in Cancer, exact at 9:24 pm ET, is quite powerful. It’s a supermoon, meaning that it’s very close to the Earth so looks HUGE at moonrise, and it also exerts more influence than even a normal Full Moon on our mostly-water bodies.

The Sun (always opposite the Moon at a Full Moon of course) is in Capricorn, sandwiched between transformative Pluto (governs birth-death-rebirth) and pleasurable Venus (governs Love, beauty, art, sensuality and money), and is even influenced by Saturn at 1 degree of Capricorn.

If you know your birth chart, you can check to see in what houses 11 degrees of Cancer and Capricorn are, and that can give you an indication of where the transformations might occur.

The sign Cancer is governed by the Moon–another reason this one might be especially intense–and your feelings are likely to be big. When weighing the call to make decisions coming from the planetary lineup in Capricorn, use your intuition to to make sure that your body agrees with what your mind proposes as a course of action.

Here’s the exercise I always taught in my Rock Your Intuition classes: use a meditation like Breathing in the Stars to get yourself fully out of your head, then write what it is you deciding on in statement form (e.g.: “i am going to take X program”) on a small piece of paper (I keep a stack of 1/2 index cards in my desk for this) and hold that, writing in, to your Solar Plexus. Then close your eyes, take a deep breath, and rise up onto your tippy toes. Stay there, eyes shut, for as long as you can, and then, when you feel yourself pitching forward or back, don’t resist but allow yourself to come back down to flat feet, blowing the air out simultaneously. Then notice: are you leaning forward or back? If forward, your body is saying yes to what you wrote on the card; if back, that’s a no.

On my list of gratitudes are new friends and amazing clients, many of whom participated in my signature Legendary Self Exploration and Being Mythic program. It has been such a game-changer for me to see what I’ve done for over 7 years now with new eyes, and frame it in a Mythic (what goes beyond the purely human) context. In re-jiggering how I work with people I allowed myself more freedom to give clients all that they need: not merely Akashic Records consultations (they’re awesome, true, but sometimes more is needed in the moment) but also emotional transmutation, cutting cords, crystal support, and more. The Legendary Self is the initiatory gateway to the deeper dive of Being Mythic, and we start by connecting with the client’s Legendary Self in a visualization. I find this is more empowering than going straight into the Records and getting answers from Keepers. Clients get their own answers through my prompting, and it takes as long as it takes.

One of the things I’m bringing into form this year is more retreats. My first one of the year will be in March (already full-blown spring here in Atlanta). If you think you’ll be sick of winter by then AND want 3 full days of intimate, small-group time with me, please reach out.

I’m also feeling like a revamped Oracle Circle might make an appearance, but don’t hold me to it. I’m also sensing a more in-depth course on using Alchemy might be on its way too.
