You may know that Imbolc is the first Cross-Quarter Holy Day of the modern calendar year. It celebrates the Return of the Light and the first stirrings of Spring, and is the mid-point between Winter Solstice and Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.

This year, Imbolc is the first of the High Holy Days of the Decade!

It is astrologically exact not on the 1st or 2nd, when it is traditionally celebrated, but on the 4th.
